It was a most unusual and prestigious assignment! Autodesk, the well known makers of 3D Design software for the engineering and entertainment industry retained us for doing illustrations for their website (Isometric Design Strategy, AEC Destination). These pertain to 3D design projects from six divisions namely Civil Infrastructure, Utilities, Plant, Oil and gas, and Construction and Buildings.
An interesting but exacting work. The level of precision expected of engineering design and drafting work had to be maintained throughput. We followed a colour pattern matching the colours employed on their website. Each isometric illustration is representative of one of the six industrial divisions. Looking at the results, we had every reason to be happy and satisfied with ourselves. The client gave a most encouraging and positive feedback.
